Policy

 

A policy is a statement or a series of statements of intent that provide agreed structures and procedures as to how an organisation  carries out its business.

The policies listed below provide guidance as to how the Ulnes Walton Parish Council believes it can best serve its Parishioners.

At the Parish Council meeting on the 11 September 2006 the following documents were adopted:

  • Child and Vulnerable Adults Protection Policy
  • Equal Opportunities

Copies of these documents are available from the Clerk to the Council. Due to the size of them a small charge will be made to cover costs.


  • Freedom Of Information Act 2000 - Parish Council Scheme.  Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Parish Councils are required to adopt a scheme identifying documents that are to be made available for publication.  All documentation can be inspected by prior arrangement with the Parish Council Clerk.
  • Code Of Practice For Dealing With Complaints.  The Parish Council is required to have a procedure in place for dealing with complaints about the administration of its affairs.
  • Privacy Policy.  Ulnes Walton Parish Council is committed to protecting your privacy online and all visitors to our website can expect their privacy to be respected.  This policy describes how that is achieved.
  • Code Of Conduct.  Describes how a Councillor is to conduct her or his self.
  • Copyright And Disclaimer. Material featured on this site is subject to copyright protection unless otherwise indicated.
