PARISH COUNCIL SCHEME
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Parish Councils are required to adopt a scheme identifying documents that are to be made available for publication. All documentation can be inspected by prior arrangement with the Parish Council Clerk. If copies of any documentation are required a charge of 10p per copy will be levied.

3. PERIODIC ELECTORAL REVIEW
This is information concerning changes to the electoral arrangements for parish, town and county councils. It includes recommendations for the creation of new wards, the amendments of existing wards, proposals for the names of new wards and alterations to the number of councillors to be elected to the council.
Information relating to the last Periodic Electoral Review of the council area.
Information relating to the last boundary review of the council area.

Exclusions – ‘personal records’ i.e. employee specific salary details etc and other items covered by the Data Protection Act 1998.
5. PLANNING DOCUMENTATION
Responses to planning applications
Parish Plan
Exclusions – copies of planning consultations, local plan and other documentation which is published by and are available from the local planning and/or highways authority respectively.
6. AUDIT AND ACCOUNTS
Annual return form – limited to the last financial year
Annual Statutory report by auditor (internal and external) – limited to the last financial year
Receipts/Payments book, Receipt books, bank statements from all accounts – limited to the last financial year
Precept request – limited to the last financial year
VAT records – limited to the last financial year

Risk Assessments
Exclusions – all commercially sensitive information e.g. quotations and tenders and insurance policies. With regard to quotations and tenders, this information is treated as confidential to ensure that the whole tender process is fair.

This is information which encompasses the duty owed by a council to the local people, to provide good quality services at an acceptable cost, to continually improve the delivery of public services and to marshal such services across its entire area.
