19 September 2003 - On The Map. Following much concern
in the Parish, the Ordnance Survey has at last been persuaded that
Ulnes Walton exists and deserves a place on the map. Our sincere
thanks go to Lindsey Hoyle MP, Councillor Margaret Iddon and all those
residents and others who wrote to support our campaign. The
chance of visitors getting lost or of the Police and Ambulance
services not being able to find us will be significantly reduced in
the future.

is a
great success. On a warm June day a spot of pillaging was the last thing on the mind of a group of good natured Viking warriors who set up camp at the Old School in Ulnes Walton. The visit was arranged as part of the consultation process for the Parish Plan staged for the highly successful Past Present and Future Day.
