On Thursday, 26th August 2004, Lindsay Hoyle MP had a date with the Elderberries. at Wymott and Garth Club. He was there with the Mayor, Councillor Danny Gee, the Lady Mayoress and Councillors Cathy Hoyle and Margaret Iddon to launch the ‘ULNES WALTON’ Calendar for the year 2005. The event attracted a good number of villagers who enjoyed the related display.

The ‘ULNES WALTON’ Calendar has been designed and produced by the Elderberries with input from the Art Club and features the Parish - past and present.

Production of the calendar was generously funded by the ‘Awards for All’ scheme with assistance from the Green Centre, and a copy will be distributed to each household in the Parish along with the next Newsletter in October.
