Minutes & Agendas 2007 |

|
An agenda is a list of things to be discussed at a meeting - it provides the meetings structure and hopefully keeps things on track. Minutes not only provide a record of a meeting, they also may provide a list of actions and the person or organisation responsible for a particular action. By recording a minute it is possible to see the progress of any particular topic, from its inception to its end. Minutes can only be published once the Parish Council has agreed to their contents as being a true record of the meeting they refer to and signed by the Chairman. This means they will always be published one month later than expected. Click on the links below to see the minutes of particular meetings. The files are only available in Portable Document Format (.pdf) - this requires the Adobe Reader. Residents Surgery Guidance Notes The Parish Council welcomes and encourages comments from residents on issues relating to the village or in connection with any item appearing on the agenda of the monthly Parish Council meeting. Council meetings are always preceded by a short time set aside for residents to raise their questions or concerns. In order for the Clerk and Councillors to give a considered response, it is necessary to give advance warning of matters to be raised. This can be done by directly notifying the Clerk in writing or by email, including a brief outline of the point/s to be considered. This notification must be received by the Clerk no later than 12 noon of the Friday prior to any Parish Council meeting. |
