The Clerk will update on progress on issues not covered elsewhere on the Agenda.

4. Standing Orders

Copies of revised Standing Orders were distributed at the last meeting. Members are now asked to adopt the document.

5. The Old School

The Clerk will brief on a recent meeting with Mr Harrison, in particular the arrangements for appointment of Trustees which is the responsibility of the Parish Council.

6. Wymott and Garth Prison Officers Club

Progress report on developments and possible long term implications.

7. Update on the Parish Plan

Verbal update on progress

8. Prison Issues

  • Briefing on recent visit by Mr Ormerod and the Clerk to HMP Garth

  • Invitation to visit HMP Wymott

  •  Correspondence with Mr Lock concerning issues relating to prison extensions

9. Heritage Project

The Clerk will report on recent developments and a draft constitution for the working group will be distributed.

10. Boundary Committee Recommendations

The Boundary Committee has recently released its recommendations for the restructuring of local Government. Members are asked to give thought to the possible implications for the Parishes.

11. Bus Service 112

Concerns have been expressed by a resident about the cost of bus fares and the failure of some buses to pick up on the Wymott estate. Members are asked to give the matter consideration.

12. Finance

  • · Draft Budget 2004/05. Members will be asked to agree the budget.

  • · Approval of items of expenditure

13. Planning

The Clerk will draw attention to any matters relating to planning.

14. The Green Centre

Members are asked to note the resignation of Andrew Suter and John Bigland from the staff at the Green Centre

15. Matters Raised by Members

An opportunity for Members to raise items that need attention or matters for discussion at future Parish Council meetings.

16. Public Forum

An opportunity for members of the public to raise questions or matters of concern for discussion at future meetings.
